@practiseSafeHex
To the OLED screen, yes Samsung build it (probably).
"The downside for Apple will be its sole-supplier reliance on Samsung for these high-volume, high-quality OLEDs, which one analyst is claiming is driving up the cost of the iPhone 8." (Source: https://forbes.com/sites/..., keep in mind that article is 3 days old) -
One big thing that is missing is a branch to WebAssembly.
So much more to get into ... so much more pain! -
You used duct tape, not electrical tape. Everything else seams fine.

I think your next rant can be about auto-correct
-
@overmars No, the laptops are like that. The camera quality and JPEG compression disturb the actual texture, the bigger one is a bit darker and shinier and the smaller a bit brighter and mat.
-
@daniello I just remembered this post, can you update us on the results now?
-
@runfrodorun That is exactly what I meant with the last paragraph, I only do it for my own enjoyment.

For real, why would they name there twins one letter apart, isn't that just calling for extra confusion?!
-
For your secondary question, I think using both tabs and spaces depending on language/project is not that uncommon.
-
@billgates What happens if you upload a 360 photo to devRant? Apparently it gets crippled by compression.

@craphon 'Who am I' was pretty good. Did you watch it in German or English? If the later how good is the translation?
-
Similar for me, I was so exited for my Zeros (took a few months getting my hands on stock) and bought two. Now they sit on a shelf and I have no useful application for them.

I just typed out the answer with all my s3cr3t h4xX0r skillz in CSS, then I read the tag

@Faraaz For a number of reasons actually, but all hardware related. I use a laptop with a Nvidia GPU and the Optimus drivers under Linux aren't ideal, I also need to test Edge compatibility and my computer sometimes struggles with VM performance. (On devices where the drivers aren't an issue, like my NAS, I happily use Linux)

@pal3117 If you use TypeScript you basically don't have to worry about ES2015 (you have things like modules and classes in both). You just install node.js, then the tsc (TypeScriptCompiler) and in your project root (where you run tsc) you have "tsconfig.json" with your compiler configuration. (You can easily find detailed instructions for each step).
But I have to agree with @apisarenco, you should probably first know JS.
I personally started with TypeScript in combination with Angular. -
I had a similar journey, starting with Java to JS to ES2015 features and now mostly TypeScript (really recommend it).

I know that feeling too well. It started by keeping the current session in Firefox and now I'm at the point where I have 3 windows open everytime it starts up, each with 15 tabs or more (and a similar situation on mobile).
I guess a tab purge is needed soon...
