When a girl you like is single, you're competing with ~ 20 guys.

When she's in a relationship, you're only competing with one.

Perspectives people, try to change it.

    @ostream what would those be, pal?

    @ostream it's like you don't even know me. I'm playing around, man.

    Your mother must've been in a relationship. That would explain the lack of competition.

    @ostream that would explain a lot also

    before me, if you wanted to date my wife, you were competing with 20 guys and girls. Now, since we're together, you're competing with 20 guys and girls, plus one trans girl.

    I also think there's a reasoning flaw.

    It's a difference if you compete with "potential 20 dudes" and "kinetic 1 dude"

    If she's single, the boyfriend potential energy (BpE) is anywhere from 0 to a maximum of 1 and the boyfriend kinetic energy (BkE) is inverse to that. Here you can consider BkE of 1 as her "having a clear goal and not looking for someone"

    once she's in a relationship the BpE is gonna be much lower, approaching 0, but BkE is close or at it's maximum.

    with high BpE it's relatively easy to roll the relationship in any direction and it will convert BpE into BkE as it rolls. This would depend on whether there is some BkE already as she might like someone and some of that energy could be there already. But with high BkE it's much harder to start rolling it another direction, because you now must overcome the full BkE + a small impulse to start a relationship roll with you.

    anyway, I guess I'm calling the girl fat

    Cooperation is an option if you find the right people.

    @kiki I didn't know you were married

    @ostream ayyy polyamory

    Also you'd be competing with 20 strangers vs one person that lady has chosen over those 20 strangers, so I'd say both scenarios are difficult because of different reasons

    @ostream if she wants to, then why not? But be careful, she changed a _lot_ of partners, and her standards are _very_ high.

    @NickyBones I'm surprised by how seriously my words are taken here. I did it on purpose to spark something. I think I got more than what I asked for lol.

    @SidTheITGuy or maybe you're mistaking how serious others are
