@linuxxx one way to tell them to RTFM or in this case support agreement and manual :)

donuts238487y@linuxxx .... are you by any chance drunk?
If you send him the link but then he said he didn't understand it and wants you to do it -
@404response @ThatDude @GarryMandered I appreciate it but I don't want to get anyone into trouble 😅

donuts238487yAh... now i remember why my scenario sounded familiar... because I was such a customer!
Got charged by AWS for a VM that I never used. Somehow it was still running.
So I email them, they reply "with a link"
I'm like yea... I already tried that except I get some crazy weird error that won't let me shut it off or delete it.
Now do it for me.
They're like sorry I can't do that... escalating to the Engineering Team -
Just automated these types of tickets. That's why there are hackable email servers, ticket systems, etc...
if (ticket.contains("restore") || ticket. contains("backup") {
ticket.reply("I'd like to refer...");
ticket.close();
}
Three lines (which probably shouldn't belong in that place)... I love hackable shit just because of some things like theese :D
(just works with open source)

There's one kind of ticket I fucking love. Wait, YOU LOVE TICKETS?! No, except for one.
Tickets where people ask us to restore backups.
Why do I love them?
Because the only fucking thing I need to do is reply with a link to a helpdesk item on our website because backups aren't something within our support range because it's easy for customers to do.
So whenever a ticket about restoring a backup comes in, it's as easy as opening the ticket, pasting the link with "I'd like to refer you to the following resource: " and pressing fucking "reply"
😄
