Fuck Microsoft.

No, not in any relation to windows this time.

Dear Microsoft, why on earth did you put us on your spam blacklist? There haven't been any spam attacks from our side, our servers have nearly the highest 'reputation' that email servers can get, we comply to all security standards and yet you're blacklisting us.

If for some reason you think something is wrong at our side anyways, we've tried to contact you and we either get ignored or get a very late response saying that we'll get delisted again within a day/week or whatsoever.

Microsoft, please go fuck yourself.

    @plusgut Not sure but I've heard that this is a general problem with hosting providers and some kind of joint letter/action against/towards Microsoft is being worked on by numerous hosting providers around the world

    Since when did Office 365 spam filters ever work? Their blacklisting mechanism is totally fucked and they haven't rectified it and nor are they bothered by the looks of it. It really fucking sucks when you put yourself in the Microsoft ecosystem using AD and 365 and have to deal with the lack of shits they give about important shit like email. That being said, the state of Azure is even worse.

    Well, someone has sent BULK email from your servers. There is always reasons for blacklist.

    There is more to e-mail then just dkim.

    SPF, DKIM, DMARC is a good start. DNSSEC and DANE is next step.

    @Linux Gotta rephrase, apologies. We've had it just a few times but most host blacklist it and de-list it again after just a few hours or a day tops. Even fucking google does this.

    Microsoft can take fucking a fucking week or more, even with us being very proactive in communication. Oh and a spam attack in the cases they came from us was just a mailing list being sent out. So that would be mostly about 50 emails max. I understand that might be a lot but yeah, this is just utter bullshit imo (and in the opinions of collegues who know way more about this than I do xD)

    I get legit mail at work from companies such as payment providers that always get flagged as spam. Yet those shitty phishing SharePoint emails always get through fine :(

    @Linux yeah, been managing some for around 5 years now. It's when we push out 20,000 in an hour or so from a single server that we get issues.

    @linuxxx but let me tell you about the other side of the medal: I have multiple outlook mail accounts and i often find important mails in the spam folder or not reaching me at all...

    And besides that their server uptime just sucks. Sometimes Thunderbird cannot get the mails or refresh the inbox because of server issues or some stupid restrictions.

    @linuxxx I have so many reasons to hate Microsoft, both as a developer and as a consumer that I can't even count it on two hands.
    Most recently I found out that IE11 does not support document.currentScript.
    Now, I knew there were polyfills for such stuff. Microsoft removed the possibility of a polyfill for that specific function in IE11 ONLY! So, when did document.currentScript get common browser support? In 2011!!!!!! Wtfshfkbsjddb

    All the normal anti spam/sender verification methods don't mean shit with Microsoft. They suck at filtering so they block everything until you report your stuff and get with the programme. SDNS & JMRP. Just imagine having to do this with every mail provider. Worst part is still a lot of spam coming trough.
