Just updated to the latest insider build for Windows 10.. left PC unattended and came back later and it was ready... no BSODs, no random crashes, no issues, nothing... it just works as expected...

I can hear Linux fanatics screaming after reading this πŸ˜‚

FUCK all this Windows stereotypes BS going on here

    That’s my experience to.

    I have had one singe blue screen the last 10 years and that was probably caused by my laptop overheating.

    Same here
    Only BSOD I had was while installing Android Studio

    I don't seem to have any BSODs. The only time I have trouble is when the hdd is failing.

    bought an xps 9560 a little too close to it's release. WiFi driver was buggy, and VirtualBox made the network stack crash.

    Usually, these issues are solved within 6 months to a year of hardware release I guess? and they're definitely not exclusive to windows. Linux takes a while to cope with new hardware too!

    I just prefer open source software in the end.

    You would actually be getting GSOD instead of BSOD

    Did the same, now my monitors are making short black screens, few times a day. Any ideas?

    @WildOrangutan sounds like a graphic driver issue.

    @WildOrangutan Update your graphic drivers

    @Raamakrishnan You're right... I forgot about that change.

    Bsods aren't our issue with windows

    Same. Never had any update, BIOS, driver, or odd issues on my Windows machine ever. No viruses either. If you invest even half as much as a Mac into getting a good rig, and don't go trigger happy over random download buttons, you'll be fine.

    @plyman The best AV is being a little smart about what to click on on the web.

    @MrCSharp When I had my old IT/customer support job, I found that approximately 100% of viruses and malware on computers were a result of downloading crap.
