    Congrats
Been to few DC's in my life. Can't say it was a very enjoyable experience.
Very cold, very loud and I feel the cancerous radiation all over me.

I freaking love our DC here. It's a weird things to love, but it relaxes me lol

Did you catch a glimpse at cable porn?

Did you have a lift? Last one I went didn't have one.

Tip: don't ever move an entire rack of blade servers to a new DC with no lift. Servers aren't made with being carried up stairs in mind...

I was able to go to a data center at an internship once and it was pretty awesome! I like how it's either really hot or really cold

What did they know abt me?

I've been in one where ebay had it's own department. And the data center staff was not allowed to access that department. It had an iris scan + badge scan that opened the first door to a sas where the first door would close and check if only one person was in that sas.

@clovisIrex Ditto. I live in Phoenix and even in summer when it's 120 I'd be wearing a sweatshirt to go to work. You get some weird looks but is frigid on the DC floor.

We had something like 5-8000 servers, and capacity for maybe 10000 more, and the cooling was clearly designed for full capacity. Lol
