Dacexi120367y@skprog Ikr. I pay for 100/100. But it's a bit hard to switch since i live in town with 2k ppl. The closes other isp is like 200km away...

Dacexi120367y@ThatDude a local shitty municipality owned one called "VilNet".
Just looking at their website gives me a whole lot of trust in them... http://www.vilhelmina.net/ -
Dacexi120367y@ThatDude in the about: "Can I use my old Electronic Mail address with this internet: yes."

skprog19167y@Dacexi that download is horrible though. Great upload i wish i had upload like that 6mb down . 5mb up
-
stereo12167y@sgoten I pay 31€/month and I have 3mbps download and 300kbps upload...these are real country differences. I think about moving to another one 🤔
-
suprano38307y@sgoten I don't download ps4 games. I buy hard copy. That's why I care less about the download speed. Well, unless there's an update for the game.
-
Dacexi120367y@stereo I stream quite a bit actually. But usually only at the weekend. 1080p 60hz 5500 bitrate 💪

Dacexi120367y@mang qoute from previous comment of mine:
"Nope. They throttle ALL torrents to 500Kbps 😑
Even legit ones like linux distros..." -
skprog19167y@Dacexi there has to be some kind of internet neutrality law that would make that i don't know illegal.
-
skprog19167y@Dacexi https://technologyslegaledge.com/20...
i think it would apply obviously Sweden isp's are having problems with their net neutrality laws. Your isp should not have control over what services your allowed access to. -
Dacexi120367y@skprog then why can Telia just ignore net neutrality? I get unlimited data on all Facebook services.
-
skprog19167yAs per the document they can only stall traffic when 1 all that service can spread viruses or hurt the network. 2 if its required by another law. 3. If the momentarily need to slow the network leading up to network killing congestion.
-
skprog19167yThe problem is they don't technically have a law against zero rate service specific traffic. Which as we understand gives a 1 of multiple companies a edge at providing their service to customers
-
skprog19167y@Dacexi and your correct they ignored it. Their "bigger than the law" and will do so until people tell them its wrong. Its up to the people to tell them its wrong.
-
skprog19167yDont be fooled people. They want to get paid by big players like Facebook Spotify and netflix and than charge per gb. So that you cant afford to go anywhere else on the Internet. At&t charges us here in florida when we go over 150 gb. They have been slowly try to shift the market to pay as you go.
