I know, hate it when people down vote my posts when they just don't understand it. Once had a question about 3D graphics, apparently they didn't like OpenGL. I wasn't asking for their opinion about OpenGL! I was asking a question about OpenGL.

Maybe it depends on tag you are using. I use mostly PostgreSQL and only time I see someone being negative towards other member is when it is clear that person who asked question didn't take tour nor didn't put any effort in solving problem on their own (or didn't show they did, with is also clear indicator of not taking tour).

Most questions get proper answer and I'm sure that both members are happy with their result.

Just saying, cause it sounds from your post as if most members of SO are dicks with I find hard to believe.

I made a question some time ago regarding opencv, i was simultaneously implementing java (it was for android) and c++ the code was somewhat functioning but could not detect certain motion changes. Even after all the bs I went through writing it I got told that software engineering was not for mi....bitch I am asking about motion transforms....not asking how to write hello world in c wtf

@lukegv it's not at all about knowing how to use SO has tons of asshole, rep whoring douchebags, the mods are also dicks sometimes plenty of high ranking people left and wrote about it. it's a fact but it still remains the best place for answers. i personally prefer other Stackexchange platforms over SO
