    @value Think of it like a good investment, sure it's going to take a bit of effort in the beginning.

    But working together is going to be a less frustating if you're on the same page.

    I was the only one using git when I started working at my current job. To this day I can't understand how the hell they worked before.

    Since I'm the "git advocate" in the office, everybody just throws tasks that require a reasonable level of git knowledge at me instead of trying to do themselves. One example would be "can you check when was branch A last merged to branch B?"

    @josefalanga habit :) it's hard to break a habit even if the alternative, git, is much better.

    Git is easy. Just give him a good cheat sheet. Remember, it was new to you at one point too.

    Why use git when you can just copy the whole thing, add YYYYMMDD and a comment at the top stating your changes - sometimes. VCS are way to complex and they might fail you know.

    Not even Hulk has enough strength to do that facepalm.
