@Zennoe Hmm ... never got that problem. I've currently installed 374 extensions (~ 45 active) and working on a project that contains about 58k files (JS, PHP, TS, a lot of node modules, webpack watch active, active chrome debugger, ~ 10 tabs open) ... RAM usage: 522.23MiB. Never got it over about 700 - 800 MB.

@tracktraps seriously?
VSCode and atom won't handle our product code (pretty much what you've described)
Without being super slow..
I use Sublime -
Scipio6957y@purpletoxicrain Yeah I noticed sublime is generally smoother. Maybe it is because of the electron core that atom runs on? I'm not too sure how sublime renders itself
-
@eArshdeep sublike is Python based and is not atom or any js based.
It has less ui cool features. But all other stuff exist.
It has the best file deep regex based search and is smooth and stable. Using it for 4 years now on multiple languages and it's amazing -
Scipio6957y@purpletoxicrain Yeah I noticed that it was py based but I didn't know how the ui was rendered. It still uses json like settings though doesn't it
