Can you please install pfsense on it and review it? :)

@Linux I'll first try out OpenWRT before setting it up with Armbian, but I wanted to do that too. I'll just post my pfSene-report here when I'm ready ;)

So... Looks like there's only an OpenWRT image for the R1, which has completly different chips. There's nor Armbian for the R2, there's just a shitty official Ubuntu Mate 16.04 LTS image from Sinovoip, which doesn't support PWM4/5, WIFI/BT, booting from EMMC, MIPI...

Let me tell you. It going to be a nightmare. I bought the R1 and it caused me some may problems, now with Armbian I have a working configuration for the switch but it's not full speed and I can't update the firmware. The lack of documentation and support it's a nightmare

Looks like there's no swconfig on the R2...

@Gatgeagent you need to use the DSA interface. You may find this helpful: https://forum.armbian.com/index.php...

@Gianlu Thanks for the tip, but that post is about the R1. The R2 has a comoletly different (I think the R1 didn't even had a dedicated one) routing chip (which btw, isn't supported by OpenWRT, pfSense, ipFire or DD-WRT.), so I can't use that thing even as switch right now.

@Gatgeagent we can but why look for it when you can provide links ? a programmer should also be efficient and lazy :3

Looks like they're working on a proper image for the R2, the LEDE/OpenWRT core developer John Crispin, backported a lot of patches from v4.13 including dsa and bpi-r2 dts: https://git.lede-project.org//...
