They charge around 5000 euro's here and that is with not unique themes.
I might just need to sell my soul and start selling them for 4000. -
Nope, it is usually starts from ₹5k(not including domain and hosting, usually those hesitant cheaptards go for lowest bargain). I would never freelance a ₹2-4k WP site, hearing their expectations and requirements would make me nauseas.

Damn it. Sorry folks for the conversion, but yeah it's around $31 - $78!
For some reason, I did not check in on my zeros while converting. I posted the rant when I was in a meeting with a potential client who offered me the $110 deal and then told me people are ready to do it for much cheap but as I was recommended he was willing to go up! -
@mayank9856 even better, so I pay you 100 dollar and I earn 3900.
Such a wage difference around the world. -
Not just that. They will pay you less than 100 usd and expect the dev to be on call 24/7 to fix font sizes that they incorrectly specified.

@Koolstr, apparently it is. So the agencies/freelancers would hand over the website that looks good on the front but is a shabby collection of previous projects from inside.
So the WordPress websites would be made up from versions of WordPress 3-4 years old and the client would constantly get messages to "upgrade" the version for security fixes and so when they call next time that's the word they use

In India a standard WordPress website with 10 pages and blog functionality would cost you as little as Rs. 2,000-5,000! That's $314-$784
And a few "agencies" do make a decent product for the amount
But in general the product is not maintainable at all. I once handled the upgradation of a client and her referrals has been giving me projects ever since!
