Now that is some fine tuning!

Also i would put something on top of them to protect them so that they won't get damaged by rain or something.

The sheer confusion among the general public who see this is going to be epic. But, like my laptop, nothing gets stuck onto my car unless mandatory.

A craft store should sell a laminate layer you could cut to slightly bigger than the stickers, probably safe against your car's clear coat
