dested5677yThe new Logitech mx master 2. It's exactly the same as the one, but it's fucking special edition white. I had no choice.
-
I have an older version of that mouse. Its 5 years old and still runs smoothly. Its awesome
-
moandip2007yI'm really curious what is so special about it ? Don't get me wrong I spent way too much money on hardware. I just want to know.
-
@moandip its comfortable, lots of buttons, endless scroll, works on white or glass tables and is wireless. Also it charges the battery with a usb cable. You dont stop working while recharging.
The battery of mine is still the factory one (5 years old).
In the end is a matter of taste. You have to test it yourself to see if it suit you. Some colleagues hate it. Others find it expensive. But a good mouse e like a good monitor or a good chair. Cheap and ok is fine for a couple of hours but if you gonna stay 5 days a week, 7h a day if not more... You need to take care of your body -
Is this the same as de MX Master (1)? I have Hugh Mongous hands and Ive trouble finding comfortable mice. The Logitech Performance MX was good but not there yet. The MX Master was almost there for me.

Drevo calibur, its mechanical, RGB, wireless and it comes with double shot pbt keycaps by default, its 71-key, the f-keys takes some time to be used to but i love it for burst typing. -
I would be worried about the white getting all dirty from grease from my hands.
Black at least covers that! -
@Mitch377 the Performance MX? The MX Master is way better imo. You should definitely get it, Ive got two.
-
@TomBombadill no, but it's the greatest mouse ever, everyone says that, it's premium and well worth the money. Heck 100 is not that much
-
@wolt i disagree, at my company Ive got a lot of foreign people with foreign keyboard layouts. The special characters are impossible to find, on the numpad the /*+- are always on the same place, makes it a lot easier to type something on those layouts.
-
PreyK22447yI think is kind of a preferency, i never had a desktop pc, always used laptops and i learned programming on a laptop so i almost never use the numpad, the only time i use it it's when i want to shitch to orthogrpahic camera in blender and im too lazy to search and remap the key so i usally go to my colleuge like:
- can i haz your keyboard for a sec PLS?
- K.
*Plug it in, press numpad 5, give it back* -
@wolt I blame Apple and laptops for your way of thinking :P Numpad is love, numpad is life. It has survived for such a long time, it's there for a reason :)
-
Bikonja23867yIt's much easier to type in numbers when they're in a 3x3 configuration and you have the various other keys close. If I have more than a small number to type in I always use the numpad.
In regards to the MX Master, I've finally had a chance to try out the second edition and I really don't like the back/forward buttons which os such a shame, it seems to be a great mouse otherwise. I'm sticking to my Performance MX which is amazing!
My special edition $130 mouse finally arrived. It takes it's place as the most pretencious thing I own

they should never have gave us money
