Question for front-end guys: why everybody hate Angular (2+) framework and praying for React?

Not everybody... >:(

We learnt angular v1 then they changed everything but kept the same name and now we feel hurt. We are not sure about using typescript either. React isn't the only other option but it seems decent.

Angular 2+ is really cool, but the setup is kind of a headache (I already went to hell with Webpack and angular), also I think it's a bit bloated. I'm really digging vue.js at the moment

Trust me, i want to make something in Angular 2+, but I can't justify fighting such an uphill battle with setting up its environment as a single person, when i have an alternative i could work with faster (React). And I'm trying to get a dev job and React seems to be more universally vied for, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Bluris angular-cli is the solution

@x1unix I know the cli, but the Webpack config is not modifiable so if you want a custom build you can't do anything
