Insanity is not a special state of mind. It's the inability to change that state.

@thebiochemic yep, the whole world is a pure function of your input. I wonder why no one realizes that.

@kiki Well, you have. Act accordingly and you will also discover the factor which scales your input in relation to other peoples' inputs...

@kiki no. The world is the input for your function. Brains process the world into decisions.

@thebiochemic "Insanity is doing the exact same fucking thing and expecting shit to change"
Well, that'll be me then. If I keep going to the gym, doing precisely the same set of exercises, I expect to get fitter.

@spongegeoff it works, but it is not really the same because you are meant to add more weight and eat more to increase muscle mass.
Or run more and do heavier cardio, depending on your goal. If you keep doing the same amount of reps, same weight, and eat the same, nothing changes.

Insanity is not a special state of mind. It is a state management library for React.

@ars1 Apart from it being demonstrably true that going to the gym repeatedly will make people fitter, I'm disagreeing with the philosophy. It's surely an everyday thing to repeat a process in exactly the same way and see change - for example, achieve the completion of a task?
