zshh38538yWhy do you think that? I think they both make good use in their own way. From a non-dev perspective Java has done a lot of good since it's run on a lot of devices.

xroad23808y@simeg compared to many other languages to write even a small app in Java you have to think like a software architect. You gotta worry about high level stuff and work your way down before you even start coding. There's no such thing as a simple Java app

Eloh3158yMine was just a rant but on a more serious note. I do not like JavaScript, as I dl believe many of its features are just awefully designed, starting from the whole concept of protypes. Java is better, but due to its boiler plate code I am not a fan. Bottom line its a matter of taste. I am sure there is a lot of people hating on C++ or Python which I both enjoy a lot
Non develpers often think that Java and JavaScript are related. After being forced to work with both I started agreeing. Clearly the share the podium for being some of the worst crap ever created by a computer scientist
