Im 29... and I realize all the bosses I had never had my future in my best consideration.

Is there such a company that bets on the well being and the stability of their employees?

I have seen one company that grows devs to then sell them to other companies.

taking the weird vibes of that apart, it is the closest I experienced tonthe thing you describe.

let me tell you what my father once told me.

if you have a company, you have multiple clients. If you are an employee, you only have one client.

That sentence has followed me ever since. Made me look different at this employer/employee game. I know this may be an unpopular opinion but:

you, and I mean only you, are responsible for your own relevance in order to sell your services. You may be able to negotiate some educational/ health stuff with your client/ employer - but you need to proactively ensure that.

Sorry if this may offend you in any way - be sure that it's not meant offensive.

No. Personal growth and wealth is up to you and no one else.

If you want something, the best (and only) way to achieve it is to work at getting it.

@nebula not offended at all. In fact, your comment reflects what i thought too.

I just find it disgusting that companies always sweet talk as if they care. You throw facts in their face, they say you're out of line.

Be your own boss - go freelance!

Then you can blame yourself if you treat yourself like shit.

Nope. Unless you are the owner and bet only your well being. Then, yes.

    Nice.
Now accept you don’t owe them extra hours unless requested by mail and paid accordingly 😊

I work at one that more or less fits that description and DevRant makes me realize just how rare and valuable that is...
