How often do you go for an interview? A senior once told me to go for job interviews regularly to know where you stand. WDYT of this advice?

Job applications are a lot of work. I think it's possible to have a good understanding of the employment environment without needing to do this.

I mean they’re not wrong but it’s a lot of effort. You can determine your worth a lot easier but finding the median in the salaries recruiters send you, if they don’t specify, ask until you get the value then drop it if not interested
