Habit I'm trying to fix?
Doing it all myself. I've been timeboxing my problems and forcing myself to ask instead of forcing myself to just figure it out myself. Communication isn't my strong point.

I hear you on this. I also struggle to ask others if they can pick up/assist on a task.
I like that you’re trying to combat this!

This is legitimately a significant skill to aquire. You can be the best dev in the world but if no one can take over after you because you were a lone wolf - then your software will die when you leave the company.

I've worked with extremely good devs - who left the company and their projects died with them cause they never told anyone how to maintain the projects.

The semi good devs who communicated had much more success in the long run.
