Russia, China and the USA probably are the safest countries right now. In case of a nucular war with one of the three, we all gonna die more or less horribly anyways. But nobody can actually directly attack the three without also causing such a war... So if you didn't go straight to the US or China, it probably is a security-downgrade.

It's more or less impossible to get into the USA. As you speak English, I'm thinking the UK would be an excellent, safe option and I suspect you'll have arrived at the same conclusion. There's absolutely no prospect of conventional warfare threatening western europe - Putin can't keep delivering death to Ukrainians and young Russians forever, just doesn't have the resource and homeland credibility for a wider war than the one he's currently engaged in.

@rarboot I asked because I have family in Hungary who are actively helping refugees, as well as some professional connections, and no matter how objectively brilliant you are, in Hungary the only asset that will land you a good job is personal recommendations.

But fundamentally I agree that the question wasn't phrased right because a direct answer is excessive information, and also I wouldn't wish being a political immigrant in Hungary on my worst enemy.

Most of our humanitarian work consists of temporarily housing people and getting them to Germany, where they actually get some kind of support.
