Thanks! One thing I wanted as an option was to assign a task to multiple projects. Like when you code a template or a framework simultaneously for multiple clients.
-
I have got to admit that's a handy feature id like to see more in other project apps. Also I love the "micro-fucking-soft: shit apps related to shit OS made by $$$"
-
@mcraz, I'd love to do that, specially if it makes a good project manager for other devs!
What are your ideas/requirements? -
mcraz16768y@DRSDavidSoft That would be awesome. I specifically wanted one where I can save details regarding the clients I'm working with and pull them out when I need them in a project.
If you ever plan to open source it, I can make a pr with the same, if it's not already a feature. -
Guys, I'll gladly make this an open source project!
Tell me your needs, so I can start working on them!
I hope PHP/MySQL/jQuery is enough for it, I didn't used any AngularJS/VueJS or Ruby for the backend! 😅 -
dots1348yYeah tools I also like to work with 👍
@DRSDavidSoft
- would be great to have a wysiwyg editor for the description.
- Also often I have a link (something like reference) to another resource.
- additional it would be great to add images to a task -
@dots yeah I am sorry. I know this is for job applications but I remembered this rant when I came across this. This is _kind_ of similar project
-
@blackmarket Close enough! It's actually based on `bootstrap-tagsinput`, but I modified it to my needs a bit.
-
@varundey Now that you mention it, I also need a cool name for this project. Any ideas?
-
@dots Great ideas! I'm planning for a "resources" part where you can submit links with short titles to each project/task.
Would a markdown editor do instead of WYSIWYG editor? (To prevent <span> tags, background colors and untimely fonts)
I haven't decided on the latter because apparently, markdowning doesn't provide a way to color important text. -
dots1348y@DRSDavidSoft
Ah I didn't saw the markdown. Then this will be nice.
Resources would be nice.
Is there already a git available? Or did you wait for a good name? Maybe also a nice logo 😉 -
@dots Waiting for a good name and a good logo!
Apparently, GitHub allows renaming repos with good redirecting support, but I think setting it up with a proper name from the start will be the better option.
(Also, I'll be commenting most of my code for the contribution comfort until I push the actual code to the repo.) -
@DRSDavidSoft Just casually commenting so that I can't lose this post 😊. It already looks and sounds great!
-
@dots Yes, on the TODO list. For now, since I'm using it in the single mode, I've installed it on my home server so I'm protecting it with a simple authentication.

This project is in a very basic phase at the moment. With your help, we'll be able to make it a functional product and an essential daily tool for life.
I'll be glad to hear your ideas, so we can tailor it to your specific needs :)
Please excuse some spaghetti code at moment, re-writing them is on my priority list! -
Guys, could you open the project link below and give it a try?

I'd be grateful for your feedback! :D
