This is my opinion:
1. We don't know that god exists, but i think there is an intelligent beeing outside our universe/multiverse which is the next thing to an god for me, because it makes more sense for me(quantum effects)
2. If humans had contact in the past with god, then much has been lost in translation or was changed to give a few people more power. The christian bible has 4 Gospels which were written years after Jesus was dead.
3. The best i can do is to not kill people and hope that the japanese hell isn't real.

God doesn't matter, only the here and now.

Being moral just out of fear of eternal damnation or because you want to go to heaven is an incredibly shallow reason to be moral.

Thus I believe that whether god exists or not is completely irrelevant. What matters is that you're a decent person on your own. Not because of some mythical place, but because say: love for another, or just basic human decency. Whatever the reason, there's plenty better ones than god. And if the Christian god, he or she, does exist, then he couldn't judge you as bad or evil despite being an atheist or gay or whatever else.

This is actually one of my favorite reasons (among many others) why I think god doesn’t exist.

If god exists and god is good (as christians claim), than god cannot be that sadistic to let people burn in hell for eternity just because they have the wrong believe or the "wrong" sexual orientation or whatever.

Contradiction -> god doesn’t exist.
(At least not in the sense that most religions are claiming)

We should all just be excellent to each other.

If the Christian god exists they kinda gotta explain why suffering is a thing at all given that

- they’re omnipotent
- if it really is a test they can kiiiiinda simulate it all in your mind as soon as you are born and then have you live a decent life cause they simulated all they needed anyway

God sounds a lot like someone who’d passive-aggressively make you suffer for eternity cause you didn’t take off your shoes in their home once even tho it’s paradise so there’s no dirt anyway…

I love approaching it logically. There are so many contradictions and nonsensical results that come out, it’s fascinating.

Some people are trying to come up with some extra rules and reasons on top to explain god. Others are giving up logic entirely and say that logic doesn’t apply to god.
