sometimes i wish i could differentiate between the result of skill, dumb luck or privilege

Welcome to life. No-one really knows, the only problem is when you massively overestimate the effect of any one of those options.

skill: you solved a commonly occurring issue and faced the same problems as others, but you still succeeded.

luck: you did the same thing, you factually solved the problems because the work matter related to problem-solving is there, but for every instance you don't know alternative ways of doing the exact same thing, proving that you were right by chance only.

privilege: same, but problems were never present in the first place. Work matter related to problem-solving doesn't exist.
