I like how OSX shows windows computers... always CRT monitor with bluescreen and OSX devices by their type(iMac, Mac mini etc.) :D

@jandans1 you have to please fanboys somehow 😎

Apple needs to hold the illusion that they are innovating something completely new from old/outdated PC hardware - How would it look if they use an icon displaying a decent pc what's performance is just a dream to them :)

The 'decent pc' would still display a BSOD, I'm not sure that's much better.

@dontbeevil I've seen plenty of BSODs post 2000. I guess it's to be expected on such an open system.

@dontbeevil Your justification doesn't make your previous comment true.

Windows computers suffering from a BSOD is not a '90s stereotype', it's a fact.

I'm saying your 'shitty hardware' justification, doesn't make your stereotype true. Has nothing at all to do with brain washing.

I don't know about perfect, but I love my Mac. The UX is great! I love my trackpad it's silky smooth. On my Windows machine, the scrolling is limited to increments, unless I use some buggy Logitech software. The file peek system is really handy, it's similar to Areopeek. One control panel is expected, I dunno why they made two in Windows 10. I guess it's the combination of little things that draw people to spend on a Mac system.

Personally I'm not about to restrict or constraint myself to one system. I like the freedom to use whatever, I guess I prefer Unix, but again I'd rather not limit myself.

People should use whatever they like, the right tool for the job. More importantly, not get hung up on what others choose to use.

@unfinishedCode honestly, you just sound like you are purposely hating on all windows computers giving the illusion of an apple fanboy...
