If you want a new IDE for java you have lot's of different ones. In my personal experience netbeans which is good if you install only the parts for java, or intellij which for you would be good since intellij and android studio are from jetbrains

After using Eclipse for a while, I recently discovered Intellij and instantly fell in love with it. I don't think I'm ever going back

samritbk3628y@iAmNaN if you want to code Android Apps, Android Studio is the way to go. But if you want java intelij or netbeans are good alternatives.
When I first use Android Studio, it was a very well built beta, I thought it was production ready. I just used eclipse for my new aws project. I thought eclipse is in beta....I want to stay away from eclipse, I'm asking for help here. Language: Java
