Agreed! I just miss one 'subject' in this list on which all apps except for Signal will score badly (the reason I use Signal) which is metadata! That shit tells providers way too much about your life, whether the content gets encrypted or not.

That aside, dropped WhatsApp years ago and use Signal mostly now, next to that Telegram with a few friends 😃

If you make every chat an encrypted chat all is good.

Whatsapp has end-to-end encryption for group chats! And also for video and audio calls!! How old is this image?

@darddan And also liberty to use(sell) group chats because they come under public data which they're free to use as stated in their own policy. Also, if someone doesn't have am updated security code, he won't be having encrypted group chat

@nottoobright do you mean group chat information (like user numbers and things) or actual chat content? There's a big difference betweene them.

The thing is.. you don't want a Messenger thats secure as fort knox, you want one where all your friends are registered. And heck, WhatsApp was there before the security-hype (it fucken is more or less a hype) came up.
