I know that feeling. But it happened to my school's site.

I feel you! had some long and sweaty hours doing the same. Really helps when the website admin calls you down in panic as well ;D

It reminded me when I made one of my client production website down for whole night and got it fixed in morning - they still doesn't know something like this happened :)
(I just commented php handle so while visiting the site it was getting downloaded instead of rendering it) it was fun :P

@backevik yeah, except I did it at 1:00 in the morning and no one noticed.
