fucking angular and fucking reinventing the fucking language it was made on and fucking everything up

spent ages debuging $interval before realizing it is a fucking promise, and that this.clearInterval() was not pointing to my custom func but global method... i mean it seems as everything is just mimicing js methods, but underlying concepts are fucked up...

I actually really loved the original Angular. I feel as though each subsequent version has taken a turn for the worst.
