@Gauthier No, but the most lines. On a 24inch monitor, over half the space on the screen is empty. If you rotate it, everything is used. One could find peace by using 2 4:3 monitors.

@vortexman100 ah, but my 1920x1200 with emacs maximized shows three frames (subwindows) side by side, with a little more than 80 chars width.

@Gauthier Yea, my problem wasnt really the editor, but editor + browser. Its just not large enough with only one screen, IMHO.
