Elementary or DeepinOS for desktop, Alpine for Docker

Well it depends what you want. Personally I'd go Debian for desktop (config is easier on my experience) or Ubuntu for a laptop with a different desktop environment/window manager to assist with my workflow.

    What do *you* want though?

@Zaphod65 Working computer which doesn't require 5 years to make it work properly...

@athlon not specific enough :-P do you know what you like about an OS what sort of features you want, how your workflow goes? What sort of GUI do you like? Does the MacOS aesthetic appeal to you?

@Zaphod65 Well, I would love if the design was pretty. I prefer flat style like Material in Android, or macOS design.

    I'd recommend Antergos.
The installer lets you pick one of 6 desktops and being Arch-based, it's really stable (rolling release).

It can also auto-config Wine and PlayOnLinux, but I haven't tested it.
