Just do what it says. It has happened to me twice. Also were you insyalling drivers at that time. If yes good luck it might screw up the driver install

@petergriffin You're right. Because when it happens on Windumb you're fucking stuck. I talk from experience (had logonui.exe corrupt — don't ask me how — and couldn't log in at all, even in safe mode. And the repair disk didn't help. Had to copy the software from another machine to fix)

qwwerty11434y@CodeTalker right, as there are no tools to check integrity and repair system files like sfc or dism
it's the same with linux and everything else - there are tools available and it's up to you to learn how to use them -
@qwwerty sfc didn't help, and I didn't hear of the latter. But if it was relevant I'd have surely found it. I took several days before fixing it
