Lesson 1: always have a backup.
I have an AWS instance, that's always off. It's setup with an encrypted HDD that has access to all of my important servers via stored SSH keys. Set a 50char pw and 2fa for the ssh login and then you've got a backup ssh box ready to go. As it's never turned on, it's never left open to the public. Just make sure you have 2fa and a decent login for aws.

I have backup SSH Keys on a USB hidden in my wallet - always had since I had a client lose $$$$ while I had no access for like 3-4 hours. Never again 😅

Prompt (for iOS, Idk about Android) is an amazing app for SSH access btw.
