"agile" teams, changing scope, unrealistic deadlines, non-tech PMs...

Does anyone have any positive experiences with agile development?
My professor talked about it as THE modern way to design software, but for me it seem just like another way to pressure devs into unrealistic deadlines and expectations, while changing the goals constantly.

@vringar When done correctly, it's awfully effective. The issue is when the organization doesn't respect the process. That's when it becomes ineffective.
