I hate Lucky Patcher. Also Game Guardians. People are using these programs to hack my mobile game, turn off ads and get all inapp purchases for free :(

@myss Thanks. I did that. It only partially solves the problem because in game values can still be edited with Game Guardian so im trying encryption and a few other techniques.

Exactly how many people do you think care enough to do this? 7? 8? Or are you gameloft or ketchapp or shit like these with trillions of users?

Well if certain apps (like those 5 minute unity template games) wouldn't show an ad every 0.5s and slow the have down to nearly unusable speeds not many would do those

@yellow-dog Not many do this but they post the mods to other sites which allow anyone to download without Lucky Patcher. Right now the hacked version is on ~12 sites and gets many thousands of downloads. Everytime I update, they hack it again and repost. Idk how much money I'm losing but I get emails from players for game support and it's obvious the game was hacked when I open their save file.

@ilikeglue I agree. All the in game ads are optional. But 99% of the game's income is from in app purchases. The ads are a joke. Google pays almost nothing.

I did exactly that when I was a kid and had an android phone. It was awesome

@Hank10 time to rethink your business model I guess. The market makes the decisions, and it has decided it won't pay anymore for your in-game purchases...

Sounds harsh, I know, but remember you downloaded a lot of movies illegally. The movies industry had to adapt (say hello, Netflix).
Try and find a new way for making money with your game. Easier said than done, but only way to survive.

@react-guy Go fuck yourself. Im making good money every month so obviously people are willing to pay for my game. And I never downloaded illegal movies. Speak for yourself

@Hank10 I do 🙂 my point is : in game purchases have been abused by the editors (not saying you did), so the consumers (often teens without much money) have found solutions.

Think adblock, torrents, cracked apps. That kind of thing. It was just a matter of time before it happened to the mobile game dev industry.

@Hank10 this guy is actually giving you some pretty valuable advice if you want to really become rich. You can ignore him if you're just trying to make some quick cash right now, but if you want to keep making money you should listen
