jstaiyou7108yOpensuse Tumbleweed with Gnome.
Kinda simplifies lots of things, and stable most of the time, even though it's a rolling release -
Ubuntu for home dev work, Mac at my dev job, Windows for video editing and gaming 😎

Not sure if you already know, but there are two Ubuntu releases a year.
X.04 (in April, that's why it's 04)
And X.10 (in October) -
youprat11598yWindows at work and Windows at play. 😜 Although I have a lot of complaints about it. For my Linux needs I just run Lubuntu on VirtualBox.

rayanon13608y@yduman Their wiki is very well detailed and comprehensive. You can follow that to install Arch. Its not particularly hard, but having background knowledge of the Linux world/ecosystem will definitely help.

milanista298yUbuntu 15.10
Found it stable enough for doing my school work and as the main environment I use. Drivers work well with my Toshiba, decent battery life -
Development happens on Ubuntu 16.04. For a year I was on a MacBook Air; homebrew and spectacle made it bearable but its keyboard drove me nuts. Never again. Windows is for games only.
