theuser48025yYou are basically putting your body into starve mode and it will quickly regain the weight again. Consider doing slower weight loss.
-
endor57515yDon't just randomly starve yourself, you'll end up destroying your metabolism and be even more sensitive to weight fluctuations.
Unless you have severe issues, the point of diets is not to eat less, it's to gradually change your eating habits in a healthier, permanent, way. -
irene33945yYour liver gains and loses a lot of weight. I would do interval fasting over total fasting for weight loss. Going into starvation mode isn’t good for you.

Starving does not work. At all.
Try interval diet. (I think that's the English word?) -
Cyberman2025yAs some people mentioned this, no, losing weight fast does not alter your metabolism. (Minnesota starvation experiment) to do that it would have to be way more extreme over a long period of time.
Most people gain their weight back after such a diet because they don't adapt their eating habits to their new weight. If you weigh less then you need less calories to maintain that weight.
Burn more than you eat and you will lose weight and the other way around. And remember to eat enough protein (2-2.5ish g/kg bodyweight) and workout (weight training) or your body will think it can get rid of your musclemass as it consumes energy. -
Cyberman2025y@PrivateGER you mean intermittent fasting. That's a valid option. As long as you don't eat more than the body needs, it works. Easier for a lot of people.
