MaxMayo6608yWhat is this beautiful editor with the entire file displayed on the right? And does it need a plugin?
-
vortex47828yPhoto in comments would be usefull now.. *burfing rainbows*
I find too many colors distracting :/ which is a shame.. cause it is pretty -
@MaxMayo I think it's sublime, but Atom and Notepad++ also have minimap. It's not extension - it's from the editor
-
@MaxMayo it's atom with minimap and semanti color packages to make it look like that. Also choose the dark theme for atom. Atom FTW !!!
-
@vortex Yeah i might tone it down a little if it's too distracting for me too. Good thing there is a setting for that in semanti color package so I'm free to experiment on it. Though i need to reload atom everytime i change something to see how it looks 😑

I'm quite curious as to what that big yellow block is that you see above in the minimap
-
Surely the point of syntax highlighting is to help identify different parts of statements when reading a file? Does this not make that particularly difficult? Wouldn't be my preference but whatever works for you.
-
@girlybrackets Oh its an ascii art of the name of the project I'm working on it looked cool so just left it in the main script 😁
-
@samk i will be honest... I think I'm getting nauseated from all the colors i think i will mute the colors a little XD
-
@alberto98fx yeah me too, I love sublime but atom is a good alternative :) it can't handle very large files very well though, from what I've experienced, but aside from that it's sweet
-
@Marnsghol @dfox I reported this post by mistake. I wanted to mute the notifications but I pressed the wrong button, sorry for that.

Grumpy28878yIt looks like a wafer full of chips, reflecting the glittering light of C beams in the dark near the Tannhäuser gate. Not sure whether it make for good readability though.
-
@Marnsghol I just installed it and can't find the color package anywhere... I need it so much 😖
-
@oscarascal it's semanticolor, you can install it through terminal with apm install semanticolor command.
-
@Marnsghol thank you, I was searching with the space in the name, which fucked up the search results!
I sometimes wonder if my syntax highlighting is too much...
