This happened a few years ago:

Cousin: So one of my friends is going to teach me how to hack.
Me: Oh so you know something about programming?
Cousin: No, I'm going to learn how to hack first, because that's way more awesome.

Open up CMD on his pc. CD to C: and type "tree". While its running type "hax v1.0.2 successful total data wipe will comment on next reboot.." so it shows when its done. Proceed to watch him squirm. Do the same thing without the message to "stop the hack". He will praise you as an overlord of hax and be none the wiser.
