Java is fine as long as you're not using eclipse. God what a terrible POS eclipse is.

Java terrified me everytime I'd see it because I didn't understand it- it looked intimidating as hell!!! But I ended up in a situation where I had to learn as much of it possible in the least amount of time, so I went at it as hard as I could. Once I started understanding the architecture more, I got sucked in and wouldnt stop!!!! Keep hammering away, its super useful to know
