    You must have shitty habits then

    @alexbrooklyn exactly. It's not brain surgery
  • 7
    even the editor asks you if you want to save changes before closing !

    @Coffe2Code not before crashing, but still

    And if you can't get the muscle memory to stop fucking around, atleast enable autosave

    @alexbrooklyn If the editor crashes, get a different editor, tf

    Which IDE?

    Just enable auto save in fav editor or ide

    @sudocode shit same dude lol

    Visual Studio has recovery saves which it restores if it crashes. 🤷‍♂️

    @kwilliams and you can actually quit the app with unsaved files and when you reopen vscode they're there with the unsaved edits

    Im sure theres a solution, but what I hate is editing a config or some code in the terminal just to find out I didnt sudo at the end and all my changes are lost. Any tricks better than sudo -s ?

    @sudocode that will only repeat the command with sudo, It wont get me back my unsaved changes in the file, will it?

    It wouldn’t have happened if you break ctrl + s with every letter you type lol

    @alexbrooklyn I too am a ctrl + s spammer

    @lwem at that point some people let it be what saves everything and forget to manually save it and lose progress when they don’t wait. That’s not everyone just some.

    @ewpratten how much weights can you lift Mr Flex 😂 only 500 lines what the hell 🤣

    @Bubbles bruh, I delete whole projects daily 😂😂

    On a serious note, I press CTRL+S every word I type.

    @ewpratten I’d just off myself at that point
