A fuckton of packages. Many of them outdated, deprecated, non working or redundant.
The only actual difference is, that NodeJS has way better dependecy-handling than python.

@grumpyoldaf well js at least has one node engine to run stuff out of browsers. And the npm does everything for you.

With python you first gotta study weirdass software to host python3 and python2.7 in parallel because you never know which version the damn script needs.

And pip is just a broken pile of useless fucking shit.
