@M1sf3t I’m looking into stripe right now. Seems like a big player in this areaπ€
-
eval6805yI use stripe and can really recommend it. Never had any problems, and the api is really simple to use. Just stay the fuck away from PayPal!
-
eval6805y@sunfishcc well, if you have no problem with them, then you either never used them as a seller or you've been lucky. If you want a small intro into just HOW retarded they are, google "louis rossman paypal"
-
eval6805y@jAsE-wAs-hErE well the big problem with paypal is they fuck over the merchants but treat the customers relatively well. So the merchants are forced to use it... I have about 10% of customers that just declare "i only pay with paypal" cause they feel secure. Fucking hell.

eval6805y@M1sf3t just do it like we do. We accept paypal, bank transfer, stripe, twint and cash. If you want to use paypal, you pay a 2.5% PPPGFY fee. (PayPal Please Go Fuck Yourself). Cause i noticed that those stubborn fuckers who only use paypal will almost always even pay the fee πππ

eval6805yAh and one more thing considering paypal. My SPA bundle has 1.75MB without gzip. I have quite some modules for login, API, different payment providers and quite a bit of my own code. This is all within 750k. 1M is used by paypals checkout.js. This is just fucking unbearable. They have a FUCKING REDIRECT IN THERE, SO 10k should be more than enogh π€π π π
