I have a physical copy of this already but eh, could be useful for when I don't have it around and I want to read something, so thanks!
Just opened it and my phone hasn't exploded yet so I guess it's okay -
I still have no clue if it is secure. A pet peeve of mine is malicious PDFS :V I normally only go for pdfs that I have bought myself, so be careful guys
-
@RememberMe mine didn't either, thing is, most of these assholes can have embedded malicious js and that makes me highly paranoid man
-
@AleCx04 it's always an issue with free books, yeah. I too usually only trust PDFs from legit sources.
Been hit bad by infected DOCs, always wary after that lel. -
Kruzifix1496yPDF-Viruses ? wtf? How should them work anyway? I never heard of that until now. I heard about JPG-bugs in internet explorer or Office-Document-Macros which infiltrate Outlook&Co. But PDF-Viruses ??? Never heard of that. There are billons of billons and billons of viruses, but I swear, never heard of that, tho.

@Kruzifix i literally posted above about embedded malicious Javascript. And not because you don't know about something does it mean that it doesn't exist. How they work you could(and should) google them.

Kruzifix1496y@AleCx04 sorry 'bout that - was meant sarcastic ;) plz don't panic - I knew this might cost me some ++

jysk1312255yLink appears to require a username/password. Any idea what the credentials are, or is this something they added recently in response to a spike in file access?

Thanks for sharing. When I was in school, I worked on my own programming language and started to turn the interpreter into an optimizing compiler, until my hard disk died completely and the windows server having the backups. On the same day!
Back then I could not even dream about buying the dragon book. 100€+...

Found the dragon book, second edition, a pretty famous compiler book at the following url:
http://informatik.uni-bremen.de/agb...
Just in case anyone is interested in it. It kinda trips me out that for 1000+ pages its only 4.somethingmb and apparently it comes from the University of Bremen, it was on the top Google results.
I think its clean, not a security expert, so if someone that is more skilled in it that I am wants to go ahead and check it out let me know
