    Never deploy.

    Best days are
    Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

    As safe as using a rusty knife as a dildo.

    @MrCSharp well this is awkward.

    Yes, you then have two days to fix issues.
    That's literally the approach we use.

    @C0D4 why? Is it something you've tried already?

    @MrCSharp nothing I care to admit anymore, you just called it unsafe 😂

    As long as you are ready to waste your weekend you can deploy on Friday

    @kiru15

    What if we have passed unit tests end to end tests for that deployment

    @farhanyaseen Friday is a no go day.
    If it can go wrong, you better believe it will go wrong.

    Imagine still leaving the house to commute when you’re having a stomach ache

    @farhanyaseen , agree with @COD4

    No way! 😱

    It is safe to deploy on Friday if your code is bug free

    Deploying on friday is absolutely fine, as long as it fine to fix the problem on monday.

    But that happening is quite unlikely

    My project at works pulls data daily from another company who seem to do deploy changes on Fridays. The data pull on Saturday has failed for the last two weeks and because they don't store the data for more than a day we lose it. That just ends up with gaps in transactional data.

    @rooter in our case we cannot bring production down during business days except during lunch breaks. So if there's a deploy issue it should happen in the weekends.
