endor57516yDon't use Brave, it's not reliable. Not too long ago people found out that it was actually not stopping some Facebook/Google trackers - intentionally.

VaderNT16346ySame thing here, Discourse app crashes with Chrome disabled.
I vote for "bad app code". While you can rely on Safari installed on iOS, on Android the browser is the user's choice. Especially in the EU this is enforced. To wrap Chrome and call it a day is just lazy. -

VaderNT16346y@irene doesn't work for me, the Android System WebView is already chosen. Actually it's the only choice, Google Chrome is a grayed-out option because I deactivated Chrome.
Should my other browsers show up there? Is there something else I can try? -
VaderNT16346y@irene that's the one already installed and selected. I guess Discourse really has the dependency on Chrome hard-coded. 🙁

Trying Brave browser as my default on my phone. So went ahead and disabled chrome as I can't uninstall it.
And so many apps lost there shit, LinkedIn 9Gag etc. all started crashing.
Google misusing there Monopoly or just bad app code, I wonder
