Did anybody buy .dev domain from Google? Their website was quite slow yesterday and somehow I managed to add my first name .dev to the cart. But in the last screen I got stuck with "Registering this domain" message. I closed tab after an hour. Today it is still under pending domains. But if I search for the availability, it says exact match is available. Should I be worried?

    Don’t be. There’s lots of 4 letter words left. Even 2 letters if you’re willing to pay the prem

    I could register shit.dev and make it a website about ... most of the devs I've worked with. Could have a spotlight cycle so everyone gets the limelight.

    @njpugh90 same issue here. Sent an email to Google domains support team. Haven't gotten any reply yet.

    Apparently I lost that domain. Somebody else registered that the next day. Since it showed as "Pending registration", I thought Google would take care of that. I still had some time to register it again. But me being lazy, didn't. Now kicking myself :/

    @njpugh90 as I heard from them, domain is not registered until you get a success email. Your card will not be charged too. If the domain sill shows as available while searching, just register it once again.

    I got 2 in the preorder phase, <firstname>.dev and <fullname>.dev :D
