I didn't even know what photography is a month ago. Then I was going on a road trip with my girlfriend so I bout a camera. Didn't read the manual just watched bunch of videos and realized it was just tuning parameters. Now I'm the master.

    There are obvious issues with that photo so there is definitely more to learn if you're into it

    @K-ASS The background is too distracting. The sand is hard to see at the bottom of the screen. The background should be either more uniform or less blurry. The question is how does the background support the image. What kind of feeling were you after?

    Also, I don't like how the hand is partially framed out.

    I'm not a professional photographer either.

    Well, that's only the technical part of it. Photography really is an art and the most important thing is not your gear but your head. Every photo should start and end in your head where your camera is just a tool to communicate your vision.
    Or you are just taking holiday snapshots...

    I'm sure there is room for improvement but It's really cool to see people getting into photography! To follow up the last comment: everybody starts with holiday snapshots!

    It's an awesome hobby and it will take you to amazing places :)
