Yeah, app's been pulled from the store too

for a while now. I've taken to using the same S3-compatible bucket I use for the private websites I maintain.

@retoor had a service but she's having server trouble.

Also, @blindXfish has a devrant-inspired bbs at https://my.devplace.net/ which is in early development so it's not very polished but image uploads happen to work so that's already a big step up from dR.

@lorentz retoor's service is just an image hoster.
I‘m not against using it but you can also use any other image hoster ^^

@lorentz I've been trying to post on there more. It's still pretty beta but also pretty cozy.

It’s funny how in the mindset of devs, websites are for desktop only. No offense to anyone, but retoor‘s snek and the graphical city game thingy were practically unusable on mobile too 😑

I used an internal website today for some work task and holy fuck it made me so mad.
The crap that was implemented there is so typical for what is wrong with websites today.

@Lensflare not just an image hoster, it's advert free to compliment the open source society that is not used to advertisements.

Yeah, server trouble is true, I got IP banned by my hoster (Hetzner) :P Believe it or not, they don't work in the weekends, so nothing there currently. All data and services (64!) are still safe. It's just disconnected.

Edit: I also use https://my.devplace.net. It gets almost daily updates which I appreciate. Especially cool that you get your own page where you can do HTML/CSS/JS. Check my page :P

@Lensflare joke is on you! It works on phones fine now! I created a rant on the phone with a very bad resolution. System works great. By damn, what do I hate NextJS :P I'm sure @blindxfish did not obscure the source on purpose, but the NextJS output is so obfuscated, that I couldn't use an LLM to extract the API to make a decent bot for it. Because let's face it, every community needs the princess bot with it's objective opinions.
