Nvidia Optimus sucks ass.

Seriously, getting this shit to run on Linux is a pain, and the pain never ends because you need to run all graphics-heavy programs from the terminal with a specific command, otherwise they can't even fucking detect the video card.

Because NVidia devs suck big time, they treat *nix as a third world. Just don't buy their products.

Specifically the syncing between the 2 gpus that adds lag when you run multiple screens.

HDMI port is wired on Nvidia and the USB c port is wired on the Intel on my Alienware.

The more fucked up thing is that there isn't really such a tangible difference unless you're running CUDA for example which will use up a lot of gpu resources so you can use the Intel for everything else while its running

P.S. I suggest using just one of the cards for Linux with Nvidia profiles... I don't see this issue being resolved anytime soon
